I'm in P3D Keith, not FSX
Works a treat.

Thanks Rob, will give it whirl later.
BTW that was quick, otherwise I was going to leave it with your original!

The two sims seem to act very differently with the same CFG.file

Not half. Just tried P3D with the FSX'd cfg file and its unflyable. I've never seen anything like that before. Needless to say, the FSX'd cfg file works great in FSX so a very happy camper. Cheers Rob

Yes, Just tried the FSX version & its quite a nice 'cruiser' with about -1.4° nose down trim. - A bit of wing incidence & a couple of passengers & baggage aft make quite a difference - 'Simples' when you know how! Cannot compare with P3D - don't have!

The Basset has always been a favourite and I was delighted when Rob's version came out. I can take off, make a steady climb, and settle it down to a level cruise (with the original cfg) but I have to do that 'by ear' since the M.A.P gauge will not read beyond ambient. It dips to zero on starting, but even using the keyboard to get full throttle, it will not show any more than a tad below 15".
This is in FSX Gold, SP2 +Acc, on Win7x64.

Cheers

Never noticed that! I must admit I set the taps at about 75%, similar for the prop for cruise as I have difficulty reading some gauges!

Here is a new interior model for the Basset with the manifold gauges correctly calibrated.
