I've populated my locale with a few houses to define the area (the wrong houses but they'll do.. not a white one amongst em yet either  ) and am wondering how far I can take it before the pc grinds to a halt. So far, my FR's aren't dropping but I could change that easily enough

Dave, ModelConverterX will create your thumbnails. Simply drag and drop your library bgl onto MCX (you may have to tell MCX where the textures are if not in the library folder) and click on Object Report (text icon top right in middle menu bar). It will save an HTML file and a named image folder in the library's folder. Dump the HTML and place the images in your thumbnail folder. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Thank you so much for that tip Mickey...It has saved me a huge amount of hassle :welldone:

Don't forget to convert the textures, those in the warehouse are not a power of 2.
Hi George,

I converted the textures of one of these the last time I imported one, but I can't for the life of me remember how to do it. I'm sure it was a setting in MCX but I cant find it now, can you help?

 I have a slight snag, my materials editor looks very different to yours! What version are you using? This is 1.3.0.0.

I'd never checked the box for development versions before George, so that how I'd missed the updates, but its working a treat, TVM.

And on another note, ask and you shall receive... A list of the Hanger types at Sydenham, the white coloured ones that I thought were T2's are in fact Pentads.

Sydenham HMS Gadwell:- 5 Pentad, 2 T2, 4 Fromsons, 15 Mains, 1 Squadron hangar, 1 Bellman, 1 Mains, 1 Super Robin & 1 Robin. The Hangers on the North side of the RW (Shorts Factory) are variations of RAF designs, mostly B / C Type hangers but with the pitches running at 90 degrees to the standard and joined in the centre to support the extra length / width (depending on how you look at it)
