Oh dear.. another toy to learn

That looks cool George. I take it you had to place the buildings given they're all pointing in the right direction?

Yes, but it is just click-drag to draw two sides of the footprint.

The background is a Gen-X scenery tile and the green squares are the existing Treescapes trees automatically picked up from the existing agn files. When the "tile" is saved, all (256) associated agn files are updated

If you do wish to play, I have a program which displays which Gen-X tile you are flying over in FSX (you can see it in the previous pics). This is the file which should be loaded into Annotator.

I see George.. IDTileX. Clever stuff  I'll keep it on the back burner for now (too much input for my two working braincells to cope with) but keep it in mind for future use ;) I could really do with Joe90 and his RAT machine handy.. sit in it for a few secs and when it stops, you're a scenery designer

Well done mate.. that looks a treat

Water and ships.. what a great combination. I've been out in the Solent this afternoon admiring the sights and thought the 'Trot' (now called something posh like Portchester Pool!!!) looked a bit quiet and in all my time in the mob, at least one ship has been tied up there awaiting disposal. So.. I filled it a little
Image

I've used the old default tanker to represent the WWII Liberty ship that lived up there for as long as I can remember (now gone for disposal I understand :( ) and threw a couple of gun Leanders where Fearless and Intrepid were moored for many years. I've also added a County at Whale Island where HMS Bristol is berthed but the model is rather rough so I'll not post a pic.. it being new years day n'all

You were asking about Treescapes in the Western Isles. Here are the trees on the aproach to Benbecula:

Blimey George.. you've got that Whisky livery for the Islander too :-O

I don't see a single tree there mate so gad knows where the heck they've been installed to. To be honest.. if that's all there is for the Western Isles, I think I'll uninstall it again 8)

BTW.. since I installed A2A/Shockwave Redux3D lights.. my airport lighting is much better.. you no longer see approach lights at JFK from Anglesey (a slight exaggeration but you see what I mean) However.. some aircraft lights now look odd but the trade-off/swap has been worth it ;)

Off to look for that Islander paint now  Thanks for looking for me George

There are not many trees but they are contained in 683 agn files ;)
