I hope you're not one of these terribly hard done to folk we hear about at Duxford who fly Cathay 747's during the week and give up their spare time to display for us  No.. I know your not Nige  I should be able to place that airport but can't *-)

There's nowt like a bit of variety though is there mate and in FS, we have the advantage of always being able to make the sun shine.. despite what's happening outside

Oh blimey.. Brum :-O Ya know.. I could count the number of commercial airfields I'd been to in FSX on the fingers of one hand with two of em removed  Rarely do I venture into such busy places since I retired from flying in the VA last year. I was thinking Belfast for a while but couldn't place the big buildings behind the terminal there. Had you plonked an EC135 there in Police livery with TonyM in the back.. I'd have known straight away

I didn't recognise the top shot although I have Orly for FS9. It was an odd route that didn't accept a lot of the aircraft I flew the most so didn't go there too often. Nice scenery though and made a nice change to tramping into CDG ;)

I think you just answered that question yourself mate ;)

I wave every time our local Police chopper goes over in case Tony is in the back but I still fear getting knicked even though I've done nothing (that can be proven) He was in G-WMID until it got trashed at Brum.. he now resides in their new shiney one ;)

Ah right! I reside (only occasionally at the mo) in G-YPOL, West Yorkshire's MD902.

I'm qualified, having successfully got into the unit early this year and am now the next in when someone leaves. I get up with them to try and keep my hand in when shifts and staffing allow but I still have to get outside in the rain snow and/or heat at the moment!!

Understood Paul ;) It's one of those jobs that very definitely qualifies as 'dead mans shoes'.. there being so few units ;)

I'm not saying that I hope someone dies soon but good luck with it
