If you REALLY want to destroy those white houses........

Honestly don't know when this was released, just tripped over the video when searching static aircraft bgls.
LOOKS like a heap of fun. The video shows aircraft on ground and a boat turned into smoking ruins, so I guess it would give any scenery item a hiding.
Maybe not autogen, though.

I watched a video of this a while back but wasn't tempted. Can't remember what I bought instead but it wasn't 'Weapon' for FSX

I think its been out about 18 months now. Never tempted me either, and I rarely see it mentioned on any forum, so maybe it didn't sell that well.
Re: FSX WEAPON - WHITE HOUSE ELIMINATOR?
I bought the weapon add-on, but didn't use it for long.
It's too much hassle to incorporate into any aircraft other than those it was designed for (F-18 default or Capt Sim and - believe it or not - Learjet for those without Acceleration). Even the "Guru" types had a lot of difficulty writing the software into existing panel configs in a way that would work consistently well enough to be worth the bother.
A couple of user-made configs were uploaded, I think for the AS F-16 and a/n other one.
Having said that, I never bothered with learning the air to air radar and weapon capabilities. It came with plenty of 'enemy' AI to shoot down, but you could actually blow up anything with it. Extra ordnance packs were made, too, by users.
They always said that further development would depend on customer response to the initial release and with VRS spouting endlessly about how their "Superbug TACpack" thingamajig was going to blow Weapon out of the water and there being far too many gullible types about (where is this super-duper TACpack thingamajig 18 months later???) Capt Sim pretty much gave up on it.
Shame, really, as it did have plenty of promise and gave us more to play with than empty VRS promises

Re: FSX WEAPON - WHITE HOUSE ELIMINATOR?
A cheaper alternative (free) is this one that I found yesterday, FSX Weapons Pack. I needed a quick response to threats, in another thread, against my scenery by squadrons of heavily armed Vulcans. This is easy to set up and works in the same way as DG's Mosquito 500lb bombs. It comes with a huge array of both British and American weaponry. It furnished me with working 1000lbers for my B52 and Sky Flash missiles for my Boeing 737-200. I'd get bored very quickly with a full weapons program but if you're just looking for a rapidly deployed deterrent to some of the threats you get around here, then it's ideal. It's certainly gone quiet on the other thread since they've seen what I'm capable of

In a similar vein, I was pleased to see that the Mosquito's bombs are quite spectacular. If I'd realised just how powerful they were going to be, I might have gained a bit more altitude!

Yes Ian.. we know what you're capable ofIt's certainly gone quiet on the other thread since they've seen what I'm capable of![]()

Fear not.. we're quietly figuring a way to use the 'ultimate' deterrent. Our technical bods at Aldermaston are on overtime

Spectacular explosions off those bombs amigo

Re: FSX WEAPON - WHITE HOUSE ELIMINATOR?
It just occurred to me that "White House Eliminator" might be misunderstood by anyone searching for anything associated with the "White House"!
Still, those explosions do look good - must find a practice range or three and from a height guaranteed to keep the scorch marks out of the underwear (and under carriage for that matter
).

Chris
