In the depths of winter (which now seems to last most of the year!).. there's nothing quite like dialling in a nice bit of summer for a Sunday afternoon's sightseeing trip in something low and slow..
Model is the freeware Eastbourne for FSX.. Scenery is ES 'The Isles of Scilly'
Very tranquil...I could do with a bit of real life like that.
Now, very nice but what is it. Some Bristol or a Bleriot, or is Eastbourne the name of the aeropland, in which case I've not heard of it ...I do know it's an aeroplane so I'm on the right track

Yes. I guessed it was an Eastbourne monoplane, too. It's got one wing and Eastbourne is written in big letters on the side.
Do I win a prize?
Actually, Dave, it's a very nice screenshot indeed. It's a good looking model and the scenery is gorgeous. It's nice to see you up flying instead of battling with your demons for a change
You can get it in RC form but if it's anything like the FS model, it'll never land
You get the prize Ian.. 10 out of 10 for observation Funny really because I took this shot by accident. The phone went and instead of hitting Pause, I hit Print Screen instead then had a look later when the call had finished. If you're going faster than say 30kts.. you'll need a fair distance to land. Stall speed is around the 25kts mark so landings somewhere in between 25-30kts. It's perfect for goofing around. Very easy to control and slow enough for you to see what's happening below without having to think too hard
