This looks excellent Ian. Do you know when it'll be released?

   Yeah, right! As if you'll be rushing out to buy any more FTX stuff this century!

Peter. Now that you've got the Northern Rocky Mountains area, were you aware that there are a couple of FTX freeware airports available on the freeware page. They are both just south of Calgary and on the flat prairies (so no mountains and not very challenging!) but they are quite charming with static aircraft, moving people at one and a flock of birds at the other. While you're there, have you picked up the free AI package for PNW yet? It's mostly VFR so you need to keep an eye on that dratted cfg setting in P3D.

I meant that after your disappointment with England you wouldn't be able to get a battleship far enough inland to sort out Spokane and get some satisfaction

Then I'll have to try something more modern with cruise missiles

Despite what you may think, I DO like the ORBX airports.. the one I've seen anyway. The level of detail reflected what you've shown on your travels and I was very impressed.. so much so I half expected different animated characters to be there next time I landed. It was a bit of a disappointment to find that didn't happen

My disappointment was with England.. exacerbated by the fact that I couldn't really afford it in the first place and that it seems to have mortally wounded my FSX install somehow 8) You're right that I won't be leaping out and buying Spokane.. not because it's ORBX though.. because I can't afford something I'm going to get little or no use out of. This doesn't detract from the fact it's a great looking bit of scenery :) My release date question was because I know you'll buy it and I look forward to seeing your screenies ;)

I love the name Spokane too. It conjures up visions of Audey Murphy or Alan Ladd saving a town from some villainous swine
