Always thought this paint looked odd mate. Not odd in the sense that it's odd but odd to see UK markings on an American aircraft.

Ah well strictly speaking I believe the RAF used the Canadian Canadair built ones rather than the US version.

Yes but you know what I mean

It's like us having B29's.. covering them with RAF paint and calling them Washingtons. Odd.. plain odd

LOL...or like Westland building S.55's under licence and calling them Whirlwinds!

No.. the Whirlwind isn't the same.. neither is the Phantom. I think I need a better pill/alcohol mix
