Dave G, don't worry. Here's one variant we can happily do without.

Out and about this afternoon. Picked this Harvard up out of Duxford...

Image

No idea where he was going.. just tagged along for the ride :) It was easier for me to stay in formation with 1 notch of flap down. Speed of the Harvard was around the 125kt mark and I was full of fuel! I don't really like these 'zoomed back' shots as they tend to give a false impression of what you're supposed to be seeing but I couldn't show as much of the cockpit off as I'd have liked without doing so ;)

The cockpit is a pretty authentic rendition of a B.MkIV and I think Dave will carry this on to any other variants he may or may not do in the future. All the knobs and switches are functional and some utilise mousewheel as well as click. It's a very nice place to be and after watching that Mossie link Archer put up this morning, I couldn't help but have a go myself

As for the model itself, I think it's pretty much there. Main focus of interest is on the FD which is being reworked. We'll keep you up to speed with future developments ;)

Yes mate.. the rest of the model is of an equally high standard. DG has done himself proud this time. Expecting a new 'from the ground up' FD soon so proper testing can continue. I've heard from DG today and he's changed a couple of things in the cockpit to match the pilots notes but what you'll end up with is pretty much as you see. There is more of course and we'll show you that in the coming days ;)

If there are any advantages to being on the 'inside' here.. this has to be it. You watch a baby grow.. you teach it things and finally, you say goodbye and release it to the big, wild, world. We're all very concious of our reputation.. from the Guru's who build the 'babies' to us who input our combined wealth of 'blurb'. Our main aim is that you guys get the best you can get with what we can give at any given moment in time. This may not always be what we want but we know you're always appreciative and this makes it all worthwhile ;)

There.. I've gone all sentimental
