The CS Boeing 707 continues to tempt me, but I still have much to do with their C-130 and 727 packs . Lovely pictures Ian. And yes Garry, there certainly were some attractive and interesting liveries back then.

I'm a bit of a fan of Captain Sim aircraft - not that that's news to anyone here! I've got the 707, 727, 737-200, 757, 767, B52 and C130 My absolute favourite to fly is the 732 and the 707 isn't far behind it. The C130 also has very few foibles but doesn't get my adrenalin going as much as the jets! The 727 annoys me because the trim control is too coarse and the autopilot is horrible to use in the VC. It's a shame because it's a lovely model and flies very well - unless you need to trim it, of course

Thanks for the comments about the pictures. I felt I've been posting too many lately, so I was going to lay off for a week or two but that dawn looked so spectacular that I thought 'Oh I want to show somebody!'

You don't post endless thread with half a dozen pics virtually the same, they are concise posts with interesting pics.

Keeps interest on the site and encouragement for folk to enhance their own sims

I have a few CS models too though not as many as you Ian and only one in FSX.. the C130. They were all pretty heavy going in FS9 (on FR's) but having read that the C130 migrated to FSX well, I bought the upgrade a while ago and very happy I did. I still see the same delay when switching views.. particulary when coming back to the flightdeck but otherwise, it's fine. A little disappointed the 'J' never got the correct flightdeck fit.
