A2A's Accu-Feel. Nev recommended it the other day and I installed it without really trying it out. I certainly noticed it when flying light aircraft in and out of grass strips and it definitely enhanced the realism. It bumps and bangs and rattles and squeals at the appropriate times giving you more feedback from the sim. It even simulates a stall shake - not that I would ever get myself in that situation
Sorry if everybody's got it already but I haven't heard anybody mention it other than Nev, so I just wanted to say how good it is.
I was doing some circuits at Kai Tak today and noticed the subtle improvements to the cockpit background sounds. I've run off a very short video which highlights the airflow sound and some nice brake squeals. The program has a comprehensive in-game control panel so you can make your own adjustments (or turn it off) for each individual aircraft. I've just left it at default at the moment. It works with virtually all the aircraft, including the default ones, but makes no changes to any of the files. It interacts with the core program and not the aircraft. And best of all, it's only $15!

I understood that the flowers were for the First traincrew to improve the ambiance of Weymouth at their request. Goes along with the tea total trains you operate on a Saturday. (Can't say that I don't blame you)
Don't worry there is no chance of us smiling at passengers yet

Maybe it was a bit too subtle for you, Dave. I expect your cockpit environment sounds are usually muffled by the screaming of your passengers

I have to admit that the settings were on default and I only noticed it properly when I viewed the video. But it's very adjustable for each individual aircraft and you can have it sound like a bag of nails if you like, which is a good setting for the old Boeings. Here's a glimpse of the control panel which is available from within the sim via the Addons button on the menu bar. It really is very clever and unobtrusive and amazing value for $15. It's very realistic on bumpy grass strips with bangs, rattles, squeaks and bounces. And that's just from the pilot

They're all volunteers mate unless on VA flights but 'they' ask to fly with me. Value for money is what I offer
Seriously.. much of what you hear and I don't is almost certainly down to my duff right ear and partially duff left ear (both drums perforated). I wasn't being sarcastic this time It does look like an interesting bit of kit and if it really does enhance all those environments, it's good value at $15. However, if I have to have it loud enough to be able to appreciate it that the neighbours hear it too.. perhaps it's not a good idea for me at the mo.
