I don't use Track IR but I know a lot do. There's been a debate on the forums about the lack of support for it in Prepar3d but it seems that it will work with a small tweak. It's a matter of changing a single line in a dll.
I'm pretty certain that the Estonian installer tool changes that dll anyway, Paul. When the Virtual FSX folder is enabled, which it should be if you've used it to install programs into P3D, the sim name in the title bar will read Microsoft Flight Simulator X and not Prepar3d. You'd only see this in windowed mode. This reflects the change in the dll that identifies the sim to Track IR. It doesn't recognise Prepar3d so you change the name to something it does recognise and it works. Allegedly.
Got all the Captain Sim aircraft working properly now
The newest version of the Estonian installer/migration tool (v1.5) now includes native Track IR support as well as other improvements in response to support issues. The support for this little tool is incredible, the author is on a mission!
No need to make tweaks for Track IR if you have the tool, which is a must have if you want to install many legacy products in P3D. It's only €11.95 too!
