Hi George,
Another quick thing as DaveB has a strange problem with IE8. Can you see the logo on the top left of every page? (The one that cycles through the various CBFS aircraft?)

I saw the original pic straight away Ben. Thought it looked a bit odd but I forgot to click on it to resize
Still no 'changing aircraft' in the top LH corner on either of my IE8 WInXP machines mind you

What happens when you use compatibility mode Dave? Are you up to date with your Windows patches? It just seems odd that it only seems to be your PC's (so far)
Ben.

Hello Mate
Compatability view/mode is something I never fiddle with. I've seen stuff come up from time to time saying that this or that had a problem with compatability view but very rare. I've just found it and selected compatability view and bless my soul.. it's back to how it should be. I've never really understood what compatability mode did so have never fiddled with it. I thought it was something to do with running older programs on newer OS's

Re: A lovely evening...
Its basically for use where a web site is written using old code and it forces IE to use old technology on that site. From time to time MS release updates to the browser so as it doesn't need compatibility view for some legacy sites. I suspect your Windows updates may be out of date as I can see it fine on my IE8 without using compatibility mode. The updates to compatibility mode are often optional ones, so if you only apply critical and security patches, these updates for IE8 may have been missed?
Ben.
