The batteries I got were from a seller called gliders-distribution I think.

What's sold it to me from them was the fact they put a free connector on your new battery.
That's the only thing with buying stock batteries. You have to get the correct connectors.
Just tell them you want a EC3 connector to fit a Parkzone model.
Now your onto your second model it may lead to a third!!
If so I'd seriously consider a half decent Tx. I've got a Second hand Spektrum Dx6 off eBay for £80.
That's got a 10 model memory. So you just buy a bind and fly aircraft rather than a ready to fly.
Forget that for now though. Just go fly and enjoy.
You'll be praying for a decent day. It gets really frustrating!
Oh and one final thing. Nothing puts more fear in you than throwing that model in the air for the first time.
