News: Fox vs Boeing 757

Post by FlyTexas »

A Boeing 757 screaming along at 500 mph down the runway at Manchester no less. 8) The fox doesn't look too worried. Hardly breaking a sweat.

Uh, "Atlas Jet" sounds very heavy (too heavy indeed for a 500mph take-off) -
but they operate scheduled passenger services and regular charter flights - not cargo flights.
Noise Abatement? Never.

It's obviously photoshopped. It just doesn't look realistic and is performing an impossible manoeuvre. No, that aircraft has obviously been pasted on to a rather boring photo of a fox to make it look interesting.

It refers to the 757 as being a 500mph cargo jet but it doesn't say it was travelling at 500mph

No different to calling Concorde a MACH 2 airliner on pictures of that landing and taking off.

Given the telephoto foreshortening the fox is probably nowhere near the aeroplane. *-)

I think the fox was fully aware of where and when the 757 would rotate and knew it was in no danger  I'm surprised the Mail didn't print 'Airliner seconds away from disaster'!

I wonder if they've covered this on Fox News??? *-)

I can just imagine the Sun headline if it had been injested into the engine

"Take Off Incident, Fox Up Engine" :-O :$

Oh, ye of little faith! :-O
Weren't you taught to believe everything you read? :|
If they printed stuff they weren't supposed to, you'd soon hear about it in the courts, I'm sure. And how long since you heard such a thing? :dunno:
OK, you can see the mounting screw holes in its feet when you zoom in, but it probably escaped from the taxidermist while he was drilling it. :agree:
Cheers, Mike.
