Classic British Visitor due at Manchester

Post by VEGAS »

Hi guys,

An unusual Visitor is due in at Manchester next week to mark a 75th anniversary.

I'm working that day, so depending on how busy I am, I'll do my upmost to get some snaps of it for the forum.

Hi guys

It's been a very busy day for me but I always like to keep my word as and when possible.

So as promised heres a couple of snaps that I took of the old lady in her overnight accommodation.

What a beautiful and well cared for example. :)

Hi Ben :hello:

The owners are registered as a Bristol address, the aircraft is based at Hullavington.

God bless the people of De Havilland. They sure knew how to produce beautiful aircraft.

Have to agree, have seen a few different DeHavilland Moths at airshows in Australia. I often use one for cruising round the virtual state of Victoria. Good visibilty and very stable. :fly:

EDIT: Sorry! Thanks for those photos, nice work!
Cheers, Mike.
