Yup.. it looks a bit bigger too so maybe that's where the extra money comes in! The vid I watched the other day was much better but it's now gone and the shop concerned was asking close to £80 for it
Not struck on IR control either. The little micro I have has so many lights on it, if they were taken of, I bet the flight time would increase by a couple of minutes!
Heyyup.. I'm charged again so it's off to annoy the wife

I tried the heli outside today and the slightest wind has it off and outside the IR range. It makes the Champ seem like an all-weather model
Talking of the weather.. it's not so bad here at the mo so I'm hoping it's similar or better where you are Eddie. Looking forward to some camera shots from the Radian

I've just had a look at the forecast for the next few days (for what it's worth) and we should both have nice sunshine at 0700 in the morning. However, winds are 11mph and 10mph respectively. Dunno if that's too much for the Radian.. definitely too much for the Champ! Sunday morning is looking better.. 5mph and 4mph winds respectively and more importantly NOT RAINING!
I just tried the heli outside again and I can say with full confidence that they're really NOT designed for outside It suddendly shot up to about 20feet and I was hands off at the time. I had visions of climbing fences to get it back What all this means of course is that I need something else.. something capable of intermediate weather that I can fly in the back garden when it's too windy for the Champ Nah.. I couldn't stand anything else arriving at the door SWMBO knows nothing about

You need to take up my old hobby when it's too windy for the RC stuff Dave...kite building and flying! Although that can get expensive too when you are building kites 14ft across by 6ft tall. Sport kites are not much better when you take into account the cost of the special lines and carbon fibre frames.
