That's how I land an F-15 in flightsim

Pretty darned cool I have to say ;)

That's a nice looking model Eddie and cheaper than the Hawk too (though you need your own txer) Had the little Champ up this evening. The wind had picked up a bit and the little girl didn't like it much but I had fun practising in gusty weather and nothing broke!

I've got a decent transmitter now mate. Got it secondhand when I bought the Wildcat. Its a Spektrum DX6i.

Has a 10 model memory. Decided to get a decent Tx as otherwise the garage would be full of radios as well as Aircraft.

Works out better in the longrun as its obviously cheaper to buy the aircraft without a tx.

I've bound the Champ and Wildcat to the same Tx and if I get this Radian then I'll bind that too. Dead easy to do. :)

I tried a flight in the Champ earlier but it was far to wet and windy. Tail suffered a little stress fracture, again!

Sorted it with some CA Glue. Bonded and set with kicker on top and the tail is rock hard again.

Seen a few people on YouTube strengthen the tail with stickyback plastic. B-)

I thought of doing that the other day  In the meantime.. I'm doing my best to keep the tail out of trouble ;)

Fingers crossed the 'RC Stork' delivers a Radian soon

Here's a video of my Fox .50 starting up for the first time in 20 years.

All it needed was a new glow plug and some fresh fuel!

That seems ever-so real when compared to my little Champ Barry

You must be chuffed to bits it fired up after such a long time. She looks in great condition

Nice one Barry. :)

Going back 20 years I can imagine the hobby costing a small fortune.

Impressive looking model, no doubt need a good open area for that baby. :agree:

Eddie..

I find myself grounded after the fin cracked near where it goes into the fuse  I've found a new fin and tailplane for around a fiver online (I don't need the tailplain mind). Is there anything else I need.. eg some sort of glue or binding? I don't know how it comes apart so am not sure how to fix it!
