Ah right it must have been Northeast Viscount in BA livery
Sort of a vague memory as I was not taking too much notice at them time and although I saw BA Viscounts regular I only occasionally heard the radio calls.
Thanks for that Eric

Albion was used by British Airways regional name briefly given to the former BEA Channel Islands, BEA Scottish, Cambrian and Northeast....that would be the old British Air Services that ran Cambrian and Northeast and BEA CT and Scottish were due to join but BA take over stopped that.
But it looks like that still sort of happened as an interim whilst they pulled the divisions together first, merged their ops before just becoming a part of BA proper.
Northeast used Norjet which I do remember, but this make it clear now why I heard Speedbird used very briefly then change to Albion for about a season before reverting back to Speedbird on what were the original BEA flights.
