Just reading up on it

So..the tanker is under test and trials and they've discovered some glitches...isn't that what tests and trials are all about???

I'm sure an industry that can design computer controlled flying weapons systems can fix a leak

Mountain out of a molehill perhaps... Even if it is a bit more to it than it appears the people involved will sort it just as long as the politicians let the engineers sort it and give them the resources to do so

I thought the point of the PFI contract was you give them £X Billion over 25 years and they provide you with the contracted tanking capability. If they can't do that the only action the MoD should be doing is enacting the penalties due for breach of contract, they shouldn't be getting involved in fixing the problem or paying more money.

Tonks, I can respect your position, I was just looking for clarification on what exactly was leaking if you could because (like we were joking about initially) the media sure isn't clear. :)

Hopefully it'll all get sorted in good time. All being well by the time I'm looking to be a tanker driver again... :)
