Brilliant news, I had no idea this was on the cards, are they exe TNT machines?
EDIT - Yep they are, ex AirJet. The first one is quite an early airframe, 1994???

Indeed they are Ben...last line of the post
There is also a Swedish one been training with the military and that is rumored to possibly be the replacement for the One-Eleven, but that's just speculation.
The RAF had trimmed the QF fleet so it's nice to see them recommitting to the type, no doubt a very useful machine for smaller non tactical jobs.
As I mentioned above, small but very welcome.
The serials fill gaps in a batch that is some years old now but it looks in keeping with the type.
I could never get used to a Dak with the serial ZA947

By the sounds of it these two will be for "proper ops" and not QF???

Hi ben
I didn't say they were QF
They are definately not Queens flight...they reduced that fleet.
These are essentially freighters
They are for ops, but I would think in more of a support rather than front line

Cheers Ben
I looked for a pic yesterday but they were a bit slow
Seems to have seats on board so still a QC
