CBFS is the only website that makes Firefox not respond
It does it on a regular basis and has done for months, first time I have mentioned it as I was keeping an eye on other sites and Firefox updates and this is the only one that does it.
Does anyone else ever have this problem or had it?
Any scripts run that I might be blocking that don't show up on ad-blocker?
Example
Webpage loads, go to forum do anything such as click on a forum title, open another webpage or even close the tab and it freezes for about 20s, if I click the browser it goes opaque white with "not responding" at the top before recovering.

I run Firefox but have not seen those issues here. I sometimes get slow page changing or loading but it never locks up.

Hi Darren,
We don't run any custom scripts on the forum, its standard phpBB. The only thing thats different is the logo image.

Very odd.....
It's not as if it's everytime as well, or always if I do something specific. Just stops randomly.
More (tea) thinking needed

I used FireFox for Radar Vituel, Flight Radar 24,FAA database,Airframes.org etc and it has stopped responding on all of those, instead displaying a text page instead of the usual page
I un installed it and now I can't re install it.
I wonder if it has been virused but nothing is coming up.

I'm up on FIrefox now and the only thing I notice is how much slower it is compared to IE8
I had a 'locking up' problem with one particular website quite recently.. FSAirlines.. but that wasn't IE or Firefox.. it was my AV, Kaskpersky!

Darren -
Have a look at Pale Moon..I have been using for several years now, with no probs.
It is a Firefox clone, with most of the 'too-clever-by-half' stuff stripped out. The ABP addon works fine for me, as do other FF things I have.
I had Firefox for ages, but it was repeated issues such as you describe that drove me away.

Hope this helps

I've got Palemoon, but I've moved onto Waterfox the 64bit version of Firefox. I get the freeze on all, in fact it was Firefox freezing that made me find Waterfox.emfrat wrote:Darren -

Another vote for Palemoon here. I've used it for a while now and can't recall any problems...
Than again, I can't recall any problems from when I used the standard Firefox (although I guess I'd notice a speed difference if I switched back!).
