New CBFS home page

Post by DarrenL »

Looks smart, like the changing photo too.

But.......it still lists a Lancaster under Avro but there's no Lancaster in the library when you click on Avro and please for a site that likes it's accuracy please, please, please get the spelling for Beaufighter correct.

Happy Christmas :)

Thanks Darren, I'd have never spotted that.
Did it really say Beughfighter? - sounds like someone puking up.
You can stare at these things for hours and never spot mistakes.

I'm not sure about the Lancaster. I vaguely remember that Dave G made one. *-)
And is the Lancastrian one of ours?
We may not have all of the listed models in the library, but it must be one of our developers that made it.

I'm updating these web pages as an exercise in teaching myself how to do advanced CSS and XHTML. Trying to be a proper web developer. ;)
I'll also be updating all the VA stats pages for those that look at them.
If there appear to be any odd display issues going on, please do let me know. I've only been testing with IE9, Chrome & IE6. It should work perfectly on everything post IE6, but you never know.

Hi DM :hello:

The Lancaster IS DG's but I can't remember it ever being in the library. I presumed the list is representative of what the chaps here of made rather than what's available in the library but naturally, one would expect the 2 to meet  It is available on FSCom.. made originally for FS8 I think with various patches by well meaning folk to bring it into FS9 :)

The Lancastrian isn't ours even though I did a hanger full of paints for it ;)

Pelsall was nice and dreary yesterday and today mate!

Had a look but wouldn't recognise my E-Mail address when I hit the forgotten password link.

Possibly because so many come straight to the forum without going through the home page *-)
