Another type of Classic British Sim..

Post by VEGAS »

Hi folks,

Read about this sim in a magazine recently and decided to give it a try. The screenshots looked good and it offered something different. :)

I've always had a soft spot for the London Underground having been on it a number of times as a child finding the experience fascinating.

Got to admit the graphics of the environment, stations, trains and cab detailing are very good. Its clear a lot of work has gone into them.

There are 35 station to explore on the Circle Line. You can literally get out of the cab and wander around the station...Perhaps to go and take a leak?!

The AI passengers are a little disappointing. They look rather ill and stroll around like zombies. Shame really. :((

Overall its good fun, but once you've mastered it the appeal quickly withers away as it lacks the challenge of a flight sim. B-)

One I'll keep on my hard drive but probably not something I'll entertain too often. *-)

Good Graphics Eddie B-) ...Is there many overground sections?

Payware I take it?

Hi Garry.

The stations are all the ones from the Circle Line matey. I'm not sure which ones are under/over ground TBH. :dunno:

Yes, its payware. RRP is around £30. I got my copy new from a store on eBay for £16.

Its very relaxing driving those things.

EDIT- I've just read your post again. Sections not stations. Yes there are quite a few bits of the line where you skip inside and out. A good mix really.
