He's apparently working on a rescue plan to save some jobs.

I was going to say, I would think that Bruce wasn't going to be happy because it meant all his friends and co-workers would be loosing their jobs. He's always struck me as the kind of guy who's not in it for himself. He makes enough to own his own (what a phrase there) 757 if he wanted to (or buy part of or all of the airline), so why fly for them as a line pilot? Why pay his employer to charter one of their aircraft for all the Maiden tours? He strikes me as a guy who's doing the job more because he likes the work and the people than as a money-making proposition. Hopefully if he can't rescue the airline, he can put something together to help as many as possible.

Having met him at Air Atlantique a few years back and flown with him on the Classic flight, he seemed a nice chap who just loved flying, no more no less and very passionate about it too. I'm sure it was Palmair he used to fly for too?

Anyway, hope some can save at least some jobs.
