I wouldn't like to try it in IFR conditions or at night! :worried:

Unfortunately it doesn't exist in FSX. :(

From what I could turn up via Google it's a mining strip and only exists to service the mine in the area. Having looked at the area in GE it's going to be a major task getting the rock/ore out of there as there is the river (non-navigable by the seems of things) and nothing else but trees and mountains for miles around.

I'm not convinced that is the Tulsequah Airstrip. I looked at Google and Bing and I can't match any location with the video. The mine airstrip is upstream from the town by several miles and has no blockage as shown by several other videos of the airstrip -

The only other airstrip I found in the area is to the east, and it is oriented wrong to the video.

I'll do some more digging because that's one hell of an airstrip.

I would have thought they knew where they were going??? :dunno:

Wherever it is the point of the post was the exciting (i.e. hairy) approach and landing on a strip that's not really visible until the aircraft is committed to land.

Great entertainment

Wow looks like they could have used some "exclude" areas when they built that landing strip! ;) Very entertaining video, thanks Gary!
