I just tried my old link and got this (I don't think it answers your questiong though Ben... )

http://www.hwcompare.com/11089/geforce- ... e-gtx-560/

If you click the "explain" links (or scroll down) you can get more details of the comparisons.

Yes the bandwith is broader on the old card, but the memorytype is GDDR5 on the 560 compared to the GDDR3 on your card. All the speeds are also higher on the 560 compared to yours...the 93% as an overall better card is maybe a bit high, but as the 560 is packed with newer technology it might not be too far-fetched anyway .. :dunno:

ATI 5770 1GB DDR3 which came with the package...

Noisy as h377.. but it does its job, and I unfortunately the kids occupy the 'puter all the time, so I cannot do as much sim as I would like .... but looking at the current prices and specifications I might switch to the nvidia soon, if nothing else then for a more silent card (!)

Maybe it would be cheaper to by a headphone set to me and the missus instead ... :tunes:
