Thanks guys, all seems ok now.The only thing that I noticed in the relevant aircraft.cfg file was the prop_anim_ratio value of 1.7 was different to that in DaveG's file which IIRC was 1.0.Don't know if that would've cause a problem. EricT

.......so a friend of mine tells me
I have no friends so I wouldn't know

It could be something simple like that mate but from my experience, FS9 is a little more robust.. the model/paint is more likely not to show than cause a CTD. That said, if there's something amiss with the paint, that can send FS9 into dangerous places. It doesn't have to be much either :-O

Eric.. 1.7 is fine for the FS9 v2 model (probably the v1 model too). It shouldn't cause a CTD but when dealing with computers, I'd not put money on it

Just tried the DaveB file in my Classic install and it behaved exactly as it should - no probs, looks great.
I see it has a fusalage_t.psd and a wings_t.psd as well as bmp files of the same name. Can I delete the psd ones?
I also noticed the prop_anim thing - 'City of Bristol' had it too, as 1. where the others had 1.7 so I made them all 1.7 put it down to bad copying on my part.

Thankyou all for your help, and here's a little something for Mr Garwood:

You can delete the .psd's...they're the photoshop files and not used by FS :)

Nice shots Mike. They've made me realise just how much I miss flying the old girl ;)

There are a selection of oddball liveries I made down in the VA forum (Aircraft and routes) for the FS9 v2 model. If any of the links don't work, let me know :)

Thanks, Dave - I downloaded ACPR, AEML, AIYR, and AGSH, without probs.
Noticed the Scillonian paint was very similar to this Beech D18 livery, which if memory serves was a R-R or DH runabout.
Any info on that?
Images are 1024 wide, so just the links.

And I couldn't resist putting this one in - I am sure I got the paint from the Pond, and the airfield is by Laurie Roche.

Thanks again
