Hi Eric,

Reading through that site reminded me of the time I joined BA...It was easier for me as I had twelve years of RAF flying behind me. However, there were some difficult hoops to get through, like getting my ATPL and learning to navigate with NDBs and VORs. The flying part was very straight forward...after the Flight Simulator, I only had four flights for Base Training on Vanguards in Malta. After that I was on the line, flying passengers, but with Training Captains for 37 flights.

Good news. :) Bit late for me (starting my aviation career in 2001 only left one option, and I'm not complaining! ) :) .
