Fokker F27

Post by tonymadge »

I managed to get my PC up and running using an old PSU and saw Frasers F27 package and thought I would have a look.
Superb pack with excellent panle and sounds brilliant paintjobs giving new life to Mike Stones aged F27, I found the FDE to be very realistic feeling ( although I dont know what it should fly like, it feels right).
If no one has tried it it is well worth the effort. Many thanks for making me actually enjoy messing about with switching things on and off before I fly

Hi Tony, :hello:

Many thanks for that ;)

If I can get you switching things on and off there's hope for the rest

Surprisingly the Fairchilds are well ahead of the Fokkers *-)

cheers

It's because the CalClassic airlines flew more Fairchilds than Fokkers. :)

I must admit the panel is well laid out and the checklists are a big bonus, those Dart sounds are superb. Only one thing I noticed, when on landing reverse thrust ( pitch) is selected the aircrfat comes to an immediate halt and sits on its ar5e bouncing around? maybe me but besides that little thing I love it cheers Fraser, we just need a modern F27 now

I'm assuming you guys are talking 'bout v6. I just did a flight this afternoon using an F-27 600. Very light touchdown. I noticed the ac stopped very fast, but didn't stand on it's nose or ar*e.

Cheers

There shouldn't be any reverse on the F-27 :worried:
