Currently working on the texturing for the STOBAR variant. Work getting in the way but hopefully should have some updated screenshots on flyingstations within the next few weeks. Probably still a good two months away from completion before I can start on the CATOBAR variant.

But an interesting idea....A "what if" version with Typhoons on the deck.....hmmmm........might look into doing that.

;)

Still want to get round to doing CVA-01 unless someone more skillful than I comes up with one!

Sorry couldn't resist setting up the shot. When the RN had teeth, big sharp pointy teeth. Carrier taskforce just passing Gibraltar on it's way into the Med to give Benny's fleet a bloody nose. :)

I have but not installed. The images below are from the download, actually not a bad model, but the texture is not good, needs some better shading, rusting and better colouring of parts with contrasts of grey. I think it depends on what they are going to be used for.

These are the screenshots from the download.

Oh dear.. F57 (Andromeda) was my last ship. Let's just say it didn't really look like that :worried:

Ironic that F15 (Euryalus) started life with a Mk6 4.5" mounting on the front and ended up with Ikara. Unfortunately, the mounting on the front of the model looks nowt like a Mk6.

Never mind.. I guess if you look at them from afar.. they'll do the job. Tks for taking the trouble to post screenies

Yes, they are missing a few things aren't they although I think a better texture would make a massive difference. I wonder also if the PC used to take the screenshots is a weak one and they might look better with higher detail settings.

I've only been on HMS Juno of the Leander Class. Portland 1982/3 can't remember if it was before or after the Falklands. One of their open days, might have been the same day I was on either Broadsword or Herald.

A fleet of scary big grey war canoes is probably all the RN will get before long.
