Jetstream WIP shots

Post by bobmay »

As promised here are a few W.I.P. shots of our Jetstream 31

It comes with or without the belly pack and we are also having a stab at the RN T1 version.

On schedule for a March release. :cpu:

No Rick, we didn't know that. As a great admirer of your work that gives me something to look forward to. :) We don't plan to do the Astazou versions.

As a 14 year old ATC cadet I had my first ever flight in a Chipmunk (and a lot more subsequently) from Hamble and thanks to your superb model I have been able to re-live those far off days.

I have not flown in a Jetstream but I did take this pic of one at Kemble last June.

I like the Highland scheme Plymouthair  . I flew from Inverness to Benbecula in G-UIST. Would be great if you could do that one as well. ;)

My couple of flights were in a West Freugh Jetstream - b***dy noisy in the climb with supersonic prop tips ( about 100 rpm less would have been a lot better), on the let down with the prop settings less it was nice. Astazous of course.
Sitting in the back I got a lot of burnt kerosene smell, probably from the sonobouys exits, or maybe a bad leak in the heating & pressurisation system!

Yes John I will do G-UIST. I'm just working on getting the fonts rights. I'm also working on G-BUVC in Eastern Airways Colours (New)
