Since I'd like to run in DX10 mode and running FPS Limiter isn't compatible with it (so it says) I have just re-run it on my current CFG file but set to "conservative" it has disabled Vsync and added a couple of more things that it didn't before (must be newly added tweaks). I don't get tearing on screen so not running Vsync isn't a problem for me. Now I have the choice of DX10 or not depending on what I am using and I don't have madly fluctuating FPS that it caused.

Current tweaks on top of the tweaks above.

One significant improvement (and worth it for this alone) - no more blurries in Gen X photo scenery! :excited:

Chris

I have tried it and it has certainly improved things enough that I am flying most of my modern flights on FSX. Sorry Dave!

If the Dave in question is me.. there's no need to apologise mate. You can fly using FS2000 if it rocks your boat

This gets a 'Thumbs Up' from me too, made FSX just a little bit better. The only snag (easily fixable) is it turned off my tool tips in the cockpit.

It was knowing what you think of the dark side. FS2000? Now that would really be taking retro too seriously!
