Hi folks
I have been doing some research on the Vickers Viking and similar aircraft of the same era. I was wondering if anyone knew what the aerofoil sections of the Viking were. For a relatively well known aircraft, data seem to be very hard to come by.
Thanks in advance,
Brendan.

Re: Vickers Viking - aerofoil section
Hi Brendan
No idea but the wing was the same as the Wellington although most had conventional structure.
Years ago Aviation News publish 3 views of the Valletta and I thing that had cross sections.
Air Pictorial continued to sell the plans

Re: Vickers Viking - aerofoil section
Hi Brendan
I built the models from the drawings Garry noted in Aviation News Vol 3 Number 17 24th Jan-6th Feb 1975.
used correct cross sections but it doesn't say which NACA profile they are.

Rick
