Re: What if CBFS had a specific livery?
The proper model comment was about the awlful AI models...nothing to do with the paint

I don't fly in a VA but I think one of the main reasons why liveries aren't used is that you can't please all the people all of the time, what someone might like as a livery might be someone's idea of hell. And here I think people like flying authentic aircraft.
If not they might end up looking like this - http://www.transloadairlines.com/newweb ... rcraft.htm <---- which aren't my particular cup of tea, more like my cup of Valium as I need one after looking that those without sunglasses on.

it's not even the pleasing that comes into it
This is a site that supports reality so a fctional livery would never be supported here
If it was....I'd be gone
The net is full of fictiional crap and that has almost, in the past, made me turn my back on the whole thing.

Re: What if CBFS had a specific livery?
Well, I only chose those models because the textures came on one sheet, and were relatively easy to do. Perhaps with some practice I might be able to be able to paint aircraft like the DM VC-10 that are a lot more complicated as I'm sure you already know, but since I'm a complete novice and using Gimp, it may take a while to get a grip with things. Rest assured, if I was capable of better, I wouldn't be putting paints on the AI aircraft above (for one thing the VC-10 is completely out of scale
).
I apologise if I was seeming a bit precious in my last post.
@DarrenL
You're certainly right there, that transload scheme is nearly enough to knock me out.
@Garry Russell
I'll not post any more of these up then, I don't want to cause an argument.

Yes, I know mateThe proper model comment was about the awlful AI models...nothing to do with the paint

That Transload lot are a bit wild

We won't argue the toss on 'what if' paints here Tom. As I mentioned earlier, what you do in the privacy of your own home is up to you
