Is there a BA RT paint available for the PSS Concorde?

Post by DaveB »

H Guy's..

As the title reads.. does anyone know of a BA RT paint for the PSS Concorde?? I'm using it as AI at the moment (not without some difficulty) and it looks a bit odd wearing it's final (the current) BA livery. That said.. it also looks odd with the reverser buckets out but that's something I'm prepared to live with

Hello Mate..

That's a good link but for the Concorde SST model not the PSS model. That said.. I do have that one knocking around somewhere so I'll have a dig and see if I can still find it :)

EDIT:..
Found some miscellaneous files on AVSIM which might contain one. If it doesn't.. I'll keep digging for SSTSIM's old version (I don't have the new one) :)

Hello Mate :hello:

Sadly.. the closest paint I found was the original (001) style :(

Rgr on the PK. The good thing about Concorde in BART is there's little to paint.. especially for a man of your undoubted talent  Can I be cheeky and ask for G-BBDG :worried: I know she was never an 'in service' aircraft but she did wear BART while whizzing around the place on BA promotional flights :)

Hi DB :hello:

There's this on AVSIM - not the PSS model but may work better as AI?

Hi Colin :hello:

Yup.. I had that one already for the freeware concall pack but 2 things annoy me with it.
a) this is the Concorde I use for VA flights and I really don't like it (a good idea at the time and I can keep it in the air unlike the PSS version which I can't!). It's a pain in the butt to fly, the main bogies don't sit flat on the deck (the rear is off the deck) and..
b) the freeware model comes in at 53137 polys and the PSS model is a less weighty 31004 polys (strange but true).
As I continue to fill LHR with AI.. those 20000 polys equate to 3 AI 747's or 4 AI Vanguards (depending on who's model you use) so I need the savings wherever I can find 'em  The freeware model 'is' probably better for AI but I can't afford the model size at the mo ;)

Tks for that anyway.. much appreciated ;)
