A few weeks ago,I did'nt have any trouble downloading files from this site, but now I'm having no luck at all.I've downloaded six files over the last few days and none of them work. For example I've just downloaded ca65f25dAuster_Alpine.zip and this is what happens when I unzip the file.
Winzip error message. Some data in your zip file is damaged. The CRC is f5e31471 but should be 1f43c2f4.The size of the extracted file (1972273) does not match the uncompressed size (1973286) recorded in the zip file.
I have tried downloading with and without a download manager with no luck.
This has puzzled me because I am not having this problem with any other sites.Any help would be much appreciated.
Terry

Hi Terry and welcome
Those files came from CBF (classicbritishfiles.com) as Garry hinted at.. not here. The filenames carry CBF file conventions so it's easy to tell
They have a forum area too so pop them a note over there and I'm sure they'll get you sorted in good order

Re: Need help please.
Garry and Dave,Thank you both for putting me on the right track.I really did think this forum and classic British files were the same site and that I had to register twice ,once for the download section and once for the forum section. This probably happened because I have a slow dialup internet connection and I am too impatient to wait while half a dozen screenshots load up,so I had never seen the forum button which is at the bottom of the page on the Classic British Files site.I have now requested help in the right place, Thanks again Terry

Thanks chaps for pointing him in the right direction. I've now answered him and hopefully solved his Alpine problem for him.
Afterall, can't have folks not being able to appreciate the stately flying experienced in an Auster can I ?
