I'll have a go later myself as well, I think I have only ever used it from a free flight active runway with the engines already running.

I didn't have much time to play about with it, but I did successfully shut down and then restart both engines in FSX using CTRL-E so for me the option is there to at least get them going.

Version - FSX Acceleration

If that's of any interest.

Glad to have that confirmed. I've since flown a couple more flights in the BAC 1-11 -- including David M's useful step-by-step "Flying the One-Eleven" flight at his website -- and all seems okay apart from possible niggles with the APU (which I suspect is caused by FSX). I also have some notes and a couple of other less significant queries about that flight, so will be passing those onto David M in the near future.
