Half price Spit

Post by Angus Prune »

Just Flight recently announced that they are doing a Mk V Spitfire for FSX as part of the Legends of Flight series.

Details here http://www.justflight.com/product.asp?pid=559#

It's due for release on 1st October priced at £19.99 but is available for pre-order at £9.99.
With my Just Rewards points I was able to get it for £8.49

It's also FULL PRICE and at £20, thats too much for me! I will stick to the RealAir one, which I doubt if this is an improvement on!

The modelling looks good, but I'm not a fan of Aeroplane Heaven's texturing style, so I'm going to pass on this.

I was compelled to buy every Spitfire for FS9, and so it is proving with FSX. This makes number three after the A2A Mk 1 and RealAir XIV/IX. I take the point about the textures - a bit FS9-y, really - but quite a nice model even so. I love little touches like the pilot's arm moving up to open the canopy. I'm hoping the repainters get busy soon.
