Incorrect Flight Report

I just completed a flight from Eday (EGED) to Kirkwall (EGPA), which I thought went pretty well. When parking at the terminal at Kirkwell, I applied the parking brake, and the client closed the flight as normal.

I then tried to report the flight through the client, but at first it 'hung', and then said that "Either I wasn't connected to the internet (I was), or the site was down".

I tried again, but this time it told me that I had to book a flight first.

I then went to the FS Airlines site, only to find that the flight had been reported, but with a rating of 85% ( B***Dy cheek ), and a critique that I had landed at the wrong airport ( I hadn't..........I'm definately at Kirkwall). It also say's that I had no passenger income ( 9 pax) , no cargo income, no bonus and no salary. Gross profit = -45v$

Definitely something wrong there. Can you try and raise a ticket Pete and send the required info to Konny. In the meantime, I'll mark the flight for review

I get the 'not connected' cr@p reasonably often and it generally means I've temporarily lost my wireless. Sometimes it comes up on it's own.. other times, I disconnect then reconnect back to the internet and this gives either a completed flight report or one I have send up manually. However, I've not had it report me at the wrong airport yet!

Pete.. the booked flight number is showing EGED to EGEP not EGPA (CBF2800 I think). Are you absolutely 100% certain you booked EGED to EGPA and checked this in the client 'Flight Information' window??

I think I was right Dave, but now you've raised doubt in my mind It was only a short flight, so I reckon to put it down to experience. I'll just have to tighten the belt until I can make the lost salary up

Not only the lost salary mate.. the VA's reputation drops from 120% (standard) to something like 114% which means that a flight booked with say 8 pax will only carry 7 (due to the dent in public confidence) until it gets back to 120% again. Don't worry about it though.. we're all human.. even me A few weeks ago while enjoying the FSX-only Islander.. I decided to buy the expensive (for the areas you get!) GenX Vol4.. The Western Isles and got so engrossed in the scenery, I completely forgot I was on a VA flight and landed at Barra to admire the scenery. It wasn't until I landed and got the message on the screen that I remembered I should have been flying to somewhere else I put it down to age All I could do was fly my butt off to get the VA reputation back It doesn't take long

No one has lost passengers though to be honest, only you and Globitz have been flying and the rep is already back to 118%. I've booked a Tristar LHR to JFK which should grab any stragglers

I'll leave getting the reputation back up to you then Dave, but try a bit harder please, cos I just took off without landing lights. That's another -5

Well,sometimes even I make some booking errors like booking to LFOB and in IVAO writing it as destination LFPG as I have flown EGLL---LFPG for over 30 times before lol
Luckily I closed FSA client when I saw "Landed at wrong airport!" lol

I dont think it is hard to regain 120/120 lol
