Someone had a question not long ago about Adobe updates , or, using updates, I can't remember
I went to Adobe Settings manager
When I read through the setting tabs , I wasn't liking what kind of permissions that are taken by them when the I agreed to the 'user policy"
Like - turning on your webcam and microphone - or that some websites may use your upload bandwith.
Sure it's all very innocent and needed .. or whatever, but, in this world we live in ? I decided to deny all attemps to do so.
Only to find out when I went back to a tab I changed a setting under, had changed back to the defaults!
I haven't created an account because I really don't want to do that.
Anyone make changes to their "Adobe Settings Manager" with a different result?

Re: Adobe Flash Player Warning
The best thing to do is uninstall Adobe Reader and use one of the other freeware vendors, I use Foxit, but there are loads available.
Ben.

Hi Ben,

Re: Adobe Flash Player Warning
I just checked my Flash Player settings, using the link in your message and it looks like my settings were as I had set them previously. I don't have a camera and the microphone is muted nearly 100% of the time so that is not a concern for me. On the "Peer Assisted Network Settings" panel, I had ticked the box marked "Disable P2P uplink for all" and that remained ticked. Looks like on my system, the settings were saved.
I also use Foxit - Adobe reader is such bloatware.
