Cancelled

Post by HawkerHart »

I cancelled a booked flight earlier today as I am having trouble with the internet connection on my fsim pc. As it was a training flight(last one :welldone: ) I assume it has no consequences for the airline. But dont want to go in anyones bad books :hide:

Hi Tom :hello:

Well done for still hanging in there

No.. as it's a training flight, there 'should' be no adverse consequences for you and were it a non-training flight, there'd be no consequences for the airline but.. you'd be liable to pay the passengers their fares back.. I think  I've not had to cancel a flight for so long, I'm not 100% certain now :worried: I'm pretty sure there's no cause for concern on a training flight so don't panic!

One thing to note..
If you book a flight on say, Friday at 11:00am and attempt to fly it.. your '24hrs' TO FLY moves to the last time you attempted to FLY. This means.. if you booked the flight at 11:00am and waited until say, 10:55am on Saturday.. your '24-hr' grace will adjust to 10:55 on Saturday. So.. put in simple terms, your 24-hr 'flight window' will reset each time you try to fly.. AS LONG AS you don't leave it longer than 24-hrs real time. If you DO leave it longer, the flight will reset and you will lose any monies credited for the flight. I'm pretty certain you'll have to pay the pax too.. not bad on a Rapide/Islander but not so much fun on a T3 or Super VC10 :)
