Britten-Norman BN2A Trislander

Post by bobmay »

We've had a lot of requests to make a FS9/FSX model of the Trislander and are now seriously considering it but we can't find a 3 view drawing of this bird anywhere :(

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your replies guys.

I must have searched through a thousand or more 3 views on the web but not found a Trislander. The "Flight" cutaway drawing and photographs are useful for general information but useless as a starting point for a GMax or FSDS model. I'm pinning my hopes on finding a 3 view in a printed book, my local library is next on the list.

Bob.

In my searches some three views were mentioned in books

There was also an Aviation News one but I don't know how you can get them now.

Has anyone Here got a pile of Aviation New's???

There are probably hundreds of the darned things at Brooklands.. many of which are on PEP. If the weather improves and I get the time, I'll have a look tomorrow ;) Unfortunately, A. J. Jackson's 'British Civil Aircraft since 1919' has both the Islander and Trislander combined and the 3-view is of the Islander.. it would be wouldn't it! 8) :wall:

I'll keep digging ;)
