Concrete...

Post by petermcleland »

I have spent the morning laying concrete at Nairobi Airport, ready to receive the 208 Squadron Hunters next Thursday.

The pictures are here:-

Well I never. Whatever next? Unconscious humour in your photo of the Prince with an apparent L plate on the Hunter!

LOL!...The Prince was to meet an untimely death later on, after plotting against the "Lion of Judah". :worried:

Peter,
What a trip. You must have many interesting experiences/stories that very few people will ever in a lifetime (not including flying  ). I'd seen the picture you have with a head of state (Ethiopia) on your screen shot post, that is too cool. Did you ever meet the Sha of Iran? Or Idi Amin? Or who was in your view the most interesting person you met in your time with the RAF or in the airlines? Don't mean to be nosy..
regards,
Macs
