Trident a/p nav mode

Post by richard-s »

Good day to you all,
I am a newbie as far your fabulous models are concerned. So, not surprisingly, I have a question: how should I engage NAV-mode on the autopilot of the Trident?

Thanks - Richard

Hi Richard and welcome ;)

I'm not sure if you're aware of this but as part of the installation, DM includes documentation for the Trident in html format. Look in the Aircraft folder of FS9 (presuming you're using FS9) and navigate to a folder called DM Shared Files. Click on this folder and you should see a folder inside called HS121 Trident Documentation. Click on any of the .htm files and you can navigate from there to the Autopilot page ;) Alternatively, look for the page Manual_AP.htm and click on that. All will be revealed ;)

It's a lovely model is the Trident.. glad you're enjoying it

From memory, if you look at the top left of the HSI there's a 2 position switch. Vertical is Nav Mode and horizontal is Heading Mode. Bottom of the Radio Panel gives you a choice of Nav1 or GPS input to Nav Mode.
