Lost backups of FS9!!!

Post by Nigel H-J »

I was just adding further files on DVD which holds all FS9 Aircraft - Airports - A1 Traffic etc then the unthinkable happened, the copy process froze, I waited and waited in the hope that it would continue but alas had to press Ctrl-Alt-Delete :wall:

Now the DVD won't read in the drive, when I go to back to Roxio Disc Creator Classic and add folders to the disc it asks if I want to add these to the existing files, on selecting yes all the back-up folders appear but cannot find a way of accessing them. Most of these are free-ware and payware i.e. all of DM aircraft Dove Viscount then airports - utilities etc. It will take me ages to re download them and wonder whether any of you might know how I can fix this problem or have I lost all of the folders?

Nigel.

There are several (some free :excited: ) document recovery programmes out there. Sadly, (& thankfully several years ago), this happened to me, & not being as 'savyy' as I am now, had to download 4+Gb of data all over again.

If push comes to shove it'll keep you off the streets for a few nights, or out of the pub :welldone:

Thanks Bob, will take a look tomorrow for some. Incidentally when I go to properties of the disc it shows up as being full when in fact there was at least 1Gb free space remaining.!! :dunno:

Regards
Nigel.
