I seem to have a problem with the Auster 1 and wondered if anyone else had seen this...
My Auster 3 (and the others) is fine. The view out looks like this...
But the Auster 1 has these strange triangular shadowy things on the screen....
Its the same windowed or full screen....

Thanks Leif.
I tried turning "aircraft shadows" off in case it was that but no change.

You didn't supply the key piece of information - what are you using - FS9 or FSX ?
I'm flummoxed because it is the same windscreen as used on the Auster 3.
Haven't seen this before and had no reports from the beta testers either - so - as they say, ' 'I'll get back to you'
Cheers

Looks like FS2004 in screenshots provided.

Having flown the pre-beta and then the following beta versions of the Auster Mk.1 for over 30 hours before release, I can say that I haven't encountered the same problem as what John is currently seeing. It will be interesting to hear what other people have to say about this windscreen.
Best wishes,
Martin

Thanks guys,
Just for clarity - yes it is FS9.
I'm running 195.62 NVIDIA display drivers.

Hi John
Do you by any chance have scenery shadows on ?
Only seen what shows in your shots with ground scenery shadows turned on

Hi, Rick,
No I didn't but playing around with other settings I have found that turning on "Reflections" in the aircraft settings seems to cure the problem.
So that looks to be the fix...

Hi John
The only other thing it can be is the material in the model's windscreen has not been smoothed then or the texture didn't apply to all the polys for some reason (my Guess)
