Amilo laptop slipping towards the afterlife

Post by tonymadge »

I think I had a warning today from my trusty and excellent if somewhat old Amilo laptop, had it for about 5 years and cost over £1200!! It is quick enough to run COD2 and FS9 so when it failed to fire up today I thought it had heard me panting and drooling as I looked yesterday at the Samsung R780 which looks very nice.. I was worried I was going to spend money I havn't got on the Samsung but to my releif it seems the bottom fans had more dog hair than on the mut itself!!
A good vaccuming pulled the beast back into life and the weekend will see the covers off and a good dusting. I fear though that its a warning... so I will be backing up and praying to the God of plastic cards it lasts a wee bit longer :worried:

I've never felt so frustrated....... died so frequently/spectacularly/or needlessly....... yet had so much fun, in a long time.
