Hi,
When running Fs9 with Windows 7, I've noticed that the pop ups that came up when you hovered your cursor over a gauge don't work anymore, for example, in the VC10 when using the autopilot in IAS mode, you could turn the dial to increase/decrease speed and the pop up would show the speed it was set for. Without this it is very difficult to control.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I can do about it?
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Panels in Fs9 using Windows 7
Hi Steve
I'm running FS9 on Win7 x 64. I've just tried running the VC-10 as you have said and also the default 737, and do not see any pop up windows. In most aircraft, you should be able to set desired speed, altitude etc using the 'bugs' on the instruments.
Sorry I can't be of any more help.
Regards
Kevin

I take it Steve is talking about tooltips as opposed to popups
Don't have Windows 7 but admittedly I'd be lost without tooltips from a developing point of view.
cheers

Think you might be right there, Fraser!
If so, 'tooltips' works perfectly in Win 7 - 'though I've had them turned off for longer than I can remember.
Steve, go to 'Settings', 'General' and check that 'Show Cockpit Tooltips' is ticked.
Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. I did mean tooltips - couldn't remember what they were called and which menu they were on
I've switched them off and back on again and it seems to have done the trick.
Thanks for the help!
