Hi Andras..
Before you convert them to DXT3.. you could try removing the mips (again, using the tools DM includes) to see if this gives you an improvement. If that fails, you can always convert them to DXT3 and to be honest, there's not a great deal of degradation in quality and you'll get the benefit of much smaller files

Mips can cause blurried
They have no effect whatsoever on colour.
DXT just might, as Dave suggests but not mips

Thanks Garry, I'll try. I have found some 1-11 repaints (e.g. Euscot Express, TAROM) that have no mips.

Well Gentlemen,
The key was to convert the textures to DXT3 w/o mips. Now everything is excellent. I have coverted all other DMFS models.

Too early joy, sg went wrong again.
Finally I have managed to achieve a fine graphical setting. Converting textures to DXT3 w/o mips resulted a great improvement on all DMFS models, including the Comet and the Trident.

Well I just had a look in the tail texture files and the colours are miles out!
Honestly, it's as if someone goes in and changes these things after they've been released.
The amount of time I spend checking these things, I must just see what I expect to see.
I've changed all my BA Red Tail 1-11s to have these texture files instead. Two files - 111Tail_L.bmp & 111Tail_R.bmp

24 bit, mip mapped textures will give best image quality with my models, so long as your video card is set for high quality and a high anisotropic filtering value.

Oh dear! When I convert the textures to DXT3 without mips there is no cabin lighting during night.
